路線簡介
小邊路是連結日本兩大聖地——真言宗總本山高野山與熊野三山——最直接的路線，也是所有熊野古道路線中最具挑戰性的一條。自11世紀起，高野山的僧侶與修驗者開始行走此路，將空海所傳的密教修行與熊野的山岳靈性融合為一，形成日本特有的「神佛習合」宗教觀。路途跨越三座海拔超過1000公尺的山峠，穿行人跡罕至的深山聚落，坡道陡峭而毫不留情。但正是這份孤絕與艱難，造就了小邊路深邃的靈性氛圍——行走在兩個神聖世界之間，四野悄寂，彷彿大地本身也在屏息聆聽。

高野山 大門
離起點 0 公里 · 海拔 820 m高野山西正門（1705年重建）。816年空海大師開創的聖地入口。蓋章處在大門前案內所。
高野山 奥之院
離起點 2 公里 · 海拔 850 m空海（弘法大師）的御廟。超過20萬座墓碑排列在神聖森林中。大師被認為正在永恆冥想中。蓋章處在奧之院入口。
大股
離起點 13 公里 · 海拔 480 m小邊路第一個住宿村落。登伯母子峠的起點。昔日的林業聚落。蓋章處在村內休憩所。
伯母子峠
離起點 20 公里 · 海拔 1344 m小邊路最高點（1,344m）。雲海與紀伊山地的大全景。晴天可見大峰山系。蓋章處在峠休憩所。⚠️ 陡峭山路。數公里內無水源。不建議幼童前往。
三浦峠
離起點 33 公里 · 海拔 1080 m海拔1,080m的三浦峠。古道沿線留有石佛與茶屋遺跡。昔日熊野參詣的要衝。蓋章處在峠標柱旁。⚠️ 陡峭山路。數公里內無水源。不建議幼童前往。
十津川溫泉
離起點 48 公里 · 海拔 230 m日本面積最大村落十津川村的溫泉地。以天然流動溫泉和吊橋聞名。蓋章處在溫泉地案內所。
果無峠
離起點 55 公里 · 海拔 1114 m「無盡峠」（1,114m）。山頂有地藏菩薩像。晴天可遠眺太平洋。蓋章處在峠的地藏像前。
三軒茶屋跡
離起點 66 公里 · 海拔 280 m中邊路與小邊路的匯合點，昔日有三間茶屋。從此處兩路朝聖者合流走向本宮大社。蓋章處在分岐點標柱旁。
